The Academy

After COVID and lockdowns, this company had to open it’s doors again to hundreds of hairdressers all aiming to learn and pass exams and The Academy wanted to welcome them proudly with it’s highly impressive facilities. The problem was that having furloughed the staff, it looked less than perfect and it was my job to rid the paving of the weeds and moss that had taken hold with grim determination. There was also a cobbled area and the moss was an inch thick between each set and that created one hell of a mess. But after two days it was ready to re-sand and that was a treat in the warm sunshine, so I took my shoes off during the process. Unbeknown to me, the staff were watching my progress and amused by my bare foot activities. Nice people, brilliant property and satisfying job.
